The part that actually matters
An affiliate model creates a real, structural incentive to say nice things about expensive products. Pretending that incentive does not exist would be dishonest, so here is how we handle it.
We do not accept payment for a positive review, and we do not accept payment for placement in a roundup. No brand sees an article before it publishes. Our commission rate on a product plays no part in whether or where it appears. Most importantly, every product we recommend is published with its documented criticism attached — including the flagship units that would earn us the most.
If we ever recommend something and cannot show you a real reason to be cautious about it, be suspicious of us. Every product has a trade-off. Our job is to name it.
Prices
Prices in our articles reflect what we saw on the date stated, and this category discounts constantly — some “regular” prices are anchors that the product has never actually sold at, and we flag those when we find them. Always confirm the current price at the retailer before you buy.
